A Ritual Theatre Experience for Enliven Festival

CALL FOR ARTISTS & PERFORMERS

Regenesis is a living, breathing ritual theatre piece—part choreography, part emergent performance, part ceremony, part collaborative myth-making.

We are gathering a dedicated troupe of performers to co-create this work.

This is an invitation to those who feel called to art as a living force—
to those who listen beyond the human voice.

  • Movers & dancers

  • Singers & musicians

  • Poets & spoken word artists

  • Visual artists & aesthetic visionaries

  • Performers of any gender who feel resonance with ritual, myth, and embodied storytelling

This is not traditional theatre.
This is oracular ritual theatre—a practice of using art as a medium to steward more-than-human voices into council during times of change.

We are welcoming:

THE WORK

Over three months, we will train and create together using the Animist Arts method—a process rooted in communion with nature, animist ritual, and collaborative creation.

This year, we will be working in relationship with the Tree of Life / Mother Tree,
listening for the myth that wants to emerge from her through us.

Through movement, voice, image, and story,
we will catch and animate the teachings and medicine that the Mother Tree spirit shares with us into a live performance at Enliven Festival.

The piece will include:

  • Group choreography

  • Solo and small group performance opportunities

  • Emergent, improvisational ritual elements

  • Opportunities for troupe members to to share additional solo performances throughout the festival weekend

Phoebe Fae is a ritual theatre director, expressive arts therapist, creative vocational mentor, and artist devoted to the meeting place between art, ceremony, and the living world.

Her work explores how creative process can become a vessel for transformation—both personal and collective. Through movement, story, sculpture, and ritual, she creates spaces where people can listen beyond themselves and participate in something larger.

Rooted in animist practice and a deep relationship with the more-than-human, Phoebe’s work invites the emergence of living myth—art that is not just performed, but inhabited.

Regenesiis is an expression of this devotion: a collaborative ritual theatre piece that brings artists together to co-create a place-based myth of renewal.

At the heart of her work is a simple intention—
to help bring more-than-human voices into council during times of change.
